ファッション、ビューティー、映像の分野で独立してから6年以上活動しており、洗練された編集的な美意識と緻密な技術に定評があります。これまでに、イギリス人女優キャリー・マリガンが出演するドキュメンタリー作品や、VOGUE Philippinesのカバーストーリーなど、国際的なハイエンドプロジェクトにも多数携わってきました。
そのクリエイティブな感性は、スポーツ大学での教育と、16年間にわたるフェンシング競技の経験から培われたものでもあり、競技を通じて身につけた高い集中力、規律、そしてプレッシャーの中での冷静さは、彼女の作品にも深く反映されています。

Mao Dooley is a Tokyo-based makeup artist with over six years of independent experience across fashion, beauty, and film. Known for her refined editorial aesthetic and
precision-driven artistry, she has contributed to a wide range of international productions—most notably, a documentary featuring acclaimed actress Carey Mulligan, and a cover story for
VOGUE Philippines.
Her approach is deeply rooted in a unique foundation: a 16-year background in competitive fencing, shaped by her education at a prestigious sports university. This rigorous training
instilled in her an exceptional sense of discipline, focus, and grace under pressure—qualities that seamlessly translate into her creative process on set.
Bilingual in both English and Japanese, Mao collaborates with global teams to execute high-caliber work across diverse cultural and creative landscapes. In addition to her freelance
career, she serves as an instructor at Vantan Design Institute, where she mentors emerging talent with the same attention to detail she brings to her clients.
Since 2023, she has further expanded her international presence through work at Paris Fashion Week and ongoing training in advanced techniques, ensuring her work remains at the forefront
of global beauty standards.
