has worked on numerous high-end international projects, including a documentary featuring British actress Carey Mulligan and a cover story for VOGUE Philippines.
Her approach is deeply rooted in a unique
foundation: a 16year background in competitive fencing, shaped by her education at prestigious sports college. This rigorous training instilled in her an exceptional sense of discipline,
focus, and grace under pressure-qualities that seamlessly translate into her creative process on set. Bilingual in both English and Japanese,
Mao collaborates with global teams to
execute high-caliber work across diverse cultures and creative landscapes. In addition to her freelance career, she serve as an instructor at Vantan Design Institute, where she mentors
emerging talent with the same attention to details she brings to her clients.
Since2023, she has continued to broaden her international scope by participating in Paris Fashion Week and engaging in overseas training to
stay at the forefront of the latest techniques and innovations in the industry.
